PRIVACY POLICY

Pursuant to the German teleservices data protection act (Teledienstdatenschutzgesetz), the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and other data protection regulations, we hereby inform you that any personal data you enter when registering will be stored, processed and used in machine-readable form solely for the purpose for which you provided said data, insofar as you did not grant us permission to use the data in any other way.

aja is entitled to collect, process, store and use personal data related to the accessing of services insofar as it is necessary to do so to enable the service(s) in question to be accessed. If, for example, a newsletter has been ordered, the data entered as part of the order will be collected, stored and processed to enable newsletters to be sent. This further applies to orders for brochures and the brochure updates that are made during the course of the year.

Once the user has voluntarily given their consent, aja is entitled to collect, process (e.g. modify, store for further processing, combine with other data sets, archive) and use personal data, as well as profile and demographic data, for the following purposes:

  • To send information about aja and current travel offers.
  • To personalise the aja newsletter and optimally tailor it to the interests and preferences of the user as well as to carry out advertising and market research for aja.

Once the user’s consent has been granted, aja is not obliged to delete the usage data at the earliest possible stage – in other words, as soon as the data has been used for the stated purpose – but is instead entitled to store the data.

Once the user’s consent has been granted, aja is further entitled to pass the user’s personal data to group companies for the purposes of advertising, market research, information on products and services, the submission of offers to enter into contracts in respect of products and services and optimised information tailored to the user’s needs in the form of the newsletter.

For its part, aja agrees, pursuant to statutory provisions, to only use the user data it becomes aware of as part of its relationship to the user for the purpose of fulfilling the stated aims and in accordance with this privacy policy, subject to permission being granted for the data to be used in a different manner.

You may demand a free copy of the data held about you by aja Resort und Hotel GmbH at any time, assert your right to have this data corrected or withdraw your consent. Insofar as data has been passed on to a partner organisation with the user’s consent, this organisation will be notified immediately and requested to delete the data. To allow us to comply with your request, please provide us with your first name(s), surname, date of birth and, if available, your email address. Please submit your request to our data protection officer at datenschutz@aja.de or write to the following address:
